Clodagh Hughes - Managing Director

As managing director of Motive8, Clodagh Hughes works at a senior level in organisations training and coaching individuals in leadership, team and people management skills.

Clodagh, who founded Motive8 in 2004, is well positioned to do this: in addition to being a qualified business and executive coach, she has 20 years’ experience in industry. Leading and managing teams.

Clodagh complements this wide-ranging practical experience with a strong academic background. She is a social scientist by profession and holds a Master’s in business from University College Dublin (UCD).

Clodagh is passionate about what she does and continuously works at mastering her trade. She recently completed an advanced Diploma in Systemic Team Coaching with the Coach Federation in Europe and a Diploma in Organisational Change and Renewal from UCD.

She is particularly passionate about brain science and is a Certified Results Trained coach with the Neuro Leadership Institute in the USA and has a certificate in Neurobehavioral modelling from the Association for Coaching in Europe.

She draws a lot from neuroscience both in her 1-1 coaching assignments and in designing her tailor made leadership and team programmes .

Clodagh holds a number of board positions and is currently on the board of Social Entrepreneurs Ireland.

Carol Bolger – Associate

Carol is a highly experienced coach and mentor who works with clients at C Suite and Senior Manager levels to develop their leadership capability and maximise their fulfillment and potential at work.

Carol’s deep business experience and academic qualifications combine to give her clients a unique blend of insights and supports that add significant value to their performance and effectiveness.

She believes in the power of self awareness and self belief and works with clients to bring clarity and focus and ultimately unlock their true potential. Her coaching style is positive, energetic, engaging and results driven.

Carol is a Chartered Director and trained Board Assessor and is a Board Member of the Coombe Women and Infants University Hospital and the Health & Safety Authority. A former Corporate Banker with qualifications in Finance and Strategy she also holds the Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
