As managing director of Motive8, Clodagh Hughes has her finger on the pulse of the coaching and training needs of businesses and individuals.

Clodagh, who founded Motive8 in 2004, is well positioned to do this: in addition to being a qualified business and executive coach, she has 20 years’ experience in industry.

In her previous positions, as Head of Marketing at Bank of Ireland Treasury and Offshore Banking and Head of Marketing at Davy Stockbrokers, she headed up and managed the work of many teams.

This experience has been an asset to the executive coaching services she provides for businesses. Since setting up Motive8 she has enabled clients from all areas to ensure their senior managers and teams deliver results.

Clodagh also works at senior level in many organisations to assist and mentor managers in leadership and people management skills.

She complements this wide-ranging practical experience with a strong academic background. Clodagh holds a degree in social science and a Master’s in business from University College Dublin (UCD).

Clodagh also lectures in Master’s business programmes at UCD and Dublin City University. There, she also delivers a specialised business module on enhancing the performance of service organisations through better co-ordination of operations, human resources and marketing functions.
